My Treehouse Club Policies

(In-person + Online Classes)

Enrollment and Tuition

-Tuition is automatically billed monthly on the 1st. This covers 4 structured classes and unlimited Open Plays. There are no classes or regular open play on the 5th week of the month.

-Your child will automatically remain enrolled at My Treehouse Club until an official Cancellation Request has been submitted via email or in-person to a teacher. A month notice is required to cancel out of the class.

-When a Cancellation Request has been received, the member will be responsible for one final payment on the next scheduled date. Children may continue to attend classes and Open Play during this final month/session.

-There are no siblings allowed to participate in classes unless they are enrolled in classes. Only children enrolled in the class may participate.

-There are no refunds or store credit issued for tuition or other purchases made at My Treehouse Club.

 

Make-Up Classes

-Makeups are offered for a missed class. Absence must be called in/emailed/speak to a teacher a day prior to by 6pm with desired makeup date. A detailed message or an email must be sent with:

Name of child, Class attending, Absent day, Make up preferred date (Please give us a few options. Makeups can only be scheduled within 4 weeks of absence.)

-No call no show will not receive a makeup. Please make sure you contact us by 6pm the day prior to your class to receive your credit. Please also call in advance so others can take your spot. Please kokua.

-Students enrolled in in-person Japanese, art, and other in-person subjects can schedule a makeup in fitness classes only.

-No Makeups are offered for online classes

 

Open Play:

- Each child receives 2 open play credits a month. Update: Open Play is unlimited and included in tuition for tuition paying active members.

-Parent supervision is required at all times for all ages. Open Play is not a drop off.

-Sibling not enrolled in classes may enter Open Play +$10.

 

Sick Policy

- If any member exceeds the temperature of 100.4 the whole family will not be able to participate.

-Participants are asked to wash or sanitize hands prior to participating in any classes.

-Please keep your children home if they show any sign of illness or COVID Symptoms - coughing, runny nose, rashes, etc.  For the health of our members, any child or adult showing signs of illness will not be able to participate. No refunds will be offered.

-If siblings or family members have been ill and/or your child is acting out of sorts, please keep him or her home, even if you cannot pinpoint the reason.  This is often the first sign of illness and is the most contagious period.

 

 

In Person Class Additional Policies and Safety Guidelines

-When participating in classes or events held in the gym, children go barefoot on carpeted areas (Clean feet only!); adults are required to wear clean socks. Dress your child in loose-fitting clothing.  Shorts or sweatpants work well.  Please bring a change of clothes for younger children.

-When participating in classes or events held in the studio, children may go bare feet or wear socks. No outdoor shoes.

-Wearing a My Treehouse Club T-shirt is strongly recommended during classes to get your child excited, prepared, and getting them used to the routine.

-Please remember that you are responsible for watching your child at all times during parent participation classes and Open Play.  If any disruptive or aggressive behavior, of negligence is witnessed the parent/child may be asked to leave for the safety for other members.

- Although the use of cell phones is not prohibited, we do feel it may be a distraction from properly enabling you to supervise your child in parent participation classes.

-(Grownup and Me Classes) If your child does not want to participate in Circle time, please sit down to the side and wait quietly until it is over. There is absolutely no playing on equipment during these times as it is disruptive, unsafe, and unfair to other children. Children who are unable to wait until circle time may be asked to wait outside in the lobby.

-In participating in the My Treehouse Club  program, you are acknowledging the risks involved.  If your child is enrolled in an independent class, please discuss the risks with him or her prior to participation.

-Photographing or recording your own child is allowed.  You must, however, obtain parental consent prior to photographing other children.  Should another parent or guardian object to an existing image wherein another child’s image or likeness has been captured, you are responsible for destroying or deleting that media.

-If you will be dropping off your child for a class (Drop off classes only!)  please make sure you inform a teacher prior to, and sign your child in/out prior to leaving the facility. All older children must be picked up promptly at the facility. No child will be allowed to leave the facility unattended or meet up at the parking lot on their own at any time.

-If a different family member, guardian, or friend will be picking up your child, please advise your My Treehouse Club  teacher when dropping off.

-No food, snacks or drinks are allowed in the facility. (Except water and bottled milk for younger students)

-My Treehouse Club  is a peanut-free facility. 

-My Treehouse Club welcomes service animals only.  Please kindly ask a teacher prior to brining your service animal to the facility so we are able to check for allergies for other children participating.

-My Treehouse Club cannot assume responsibility for lost or stolen articles.

 

 

Online Classes: Additional Policies and Safety Guidelines

-Please have all required materials ready prior to classes. There will always be a “What do we need today?” check list once you login to your zoom class.

-Please make sure we can see you child’s face as well as their work. If the camera is turned off, we will not be able to interact with them.

-Please make sure you are on mute, and only unmute when instructed. If your microphone is not on mute, it is extremely distracting for other participants.

-Japanese, Art, Preschool Prep, Read and Doodle: Please make sure your child is sitting at a table.

-Please remember that you are responsible for watching your child at all times during classes.

-Students are not allowed to have toys on their table during classes as it is a distraction to others.

-We will be taking occasional group pictures and will be posing on social media. If you do not wish to be photographed, please turn your camera off during these times.

-If a different family member, guardian, or friend will be assisting your child, please let us know in advance so we can give them the necessary guidance through out classes. *
